Sample page. Pages are different from blog posts because they not only always stay in one place but also appear in the site menu (in most themes). Most users start with an About page that introduces them to site visitors. Such a page might contain content like this:

Hi there! By day, I am a bike courier, by night I try my hand at acting, and this is my website. I live in Krakow, I have a wonderful dog named Rex, and I like piña coladas (and walking in the rain).

…or something like this:

XYZ Doohickey Company was founded in 1971 and has been providing the public with high-quality gadgets ever since. Located in Gotham City, XYZ employs over 2000 people and does amazing things for the Gotham community.

As a new WordPress user, you should go to your dashboard to delete this page and create new pages with your own content. Have fun!
